So Christmas came and went, and this year it never quite felt like Christmas! But I still had an amazing weekend! On Christmas Eve Jess and I went to his big family dinner that he has every year. Lots of delicious mexican food and too many chips and salsa.
Jess and I opened our gifts to eachother on Christmas Eve because we had to be at my house early Christmas morning. It was so much fun shopping for him and I was absolutely AMAZED that he shopped for me without me even telling him what i wanted! He got me new nike shoes, a few shirts, a jacket, my favorite movie, and 2 delicious smelling perfumes.
Christmas Day was a lot of fun too. He came over early and watched us open our gifts. He had a few under the tree that he got to open also. We then had breakfast at my aunts house, breakfast is officially my favorite meal of the day.
Jess's Birthday is the day after Christmas so we just kept on partying! We went to breakfast at T.C. Eggintons which was superb. We then saw Sherlock Holmes which was hilarious. That night we made homemade pizza and homemade chocolate icecream! (Thanks to my mom for the new cooking stone and the icecream maker!) The rest of the evening consisted of several intense 1 on 1 Call of Duty battles in which I think we ended up tieing??? I used to beat him all the time but he is getting way to good now.
I wish i had some pictures to post but hopefully i'll have some soon. This Christmas season has been so much fun being engaged and I can't wait for next year when i will be married! A few things that I will always remember about this Christmas were:
*Watching Home Alone and quoting the entire movie
*Hot Chocolate
*Dancing like idiots in the kitchen to cheesy Christmas songs
*Playing Call of Duty while Jess wrapped my presents and hearing him crack up cuz he couldn't figure out how to wrap clothes without boxes!
*The awesome POST IT NOTES that he used on my presents instead of gift tags
*The amazing feelings of being around people you love and care about!
Merry Christmas to everyone, hope you all have a great NEW YEARS!!!
I've got some ridiculous new years resolutions so stay tuned for those :)

Kim, I'm so happy for you. I'm so glad to hear you looking forward to a new year and enjoying all the little things in life. Get that engagement overwith so you can start enjoying married life too!
It never really felt quite like christmas for me either! I think it was not living at my house. By the way, Jess's family's christmas party sounds a lot like Glenn's. Are you sure we weren't at the same one? There were so many people at GLenn's I seriously could have missed you. I WANT TO SEE YOU SO BAD!
Kim you look so happy and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the picture on top. It is so cute :) I am glad you had a good Christmas, I can't wait to see your wedding pictures when they come! haha
What I love the most about this post is that you play call of duty
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Kim!!! Glad you had some fun times. And call of duty... seems to be a favorite to many.
I wish you the best :)
